Contractor serving Chesterfield, VA since 2019

Johnston's Deck and Fence has been building and improving outdoor spaces across the Richmond region since 2019. We are a local, veteran, family-owned and operated LLC built on a simple idea: homeowners deserve a contractor who shows up on time, communicates clearly, and delivers work they are proud of.

The owner brings something uncommon to the trades. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), every project runs on a clear plan with defined timelines, open communication, and dependable follow-through. That background shapes how we work from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

We build custom wood decks, composite decks, porches, patio enclosures, stairs, and railings. We also handle deck renovations, deck replacement, and refinishing for homeowners who want to restore or update what they already have. Whether you are starting from scratch or improving an existing space, we can help.

Our work takes us throughout Chesterfield, Richmond, Colonial Heights, Petersburg, Prince George, and Glen Allen. We know these communities, and we take pride in adding value to the homes and families in them.

We are licensed in Virginia (License No. 2705185863), and we treat every project as a reflection of our name. No shortcuts, no vague timelines, and no surprises on the back end.

At the end of the day, we build outdoor spaces where families relax, gather, and enjoy the home they love. That purpose drives everything we do.
